1. Will you promo me?

No. I get about 20 messages a day requesting promo’s, and no, I won’t, reasons being, if I promo one of you, I have to promo ALL of you to be fair. Also, I find promos that come up on my dash really annoying. I try to keep my blog output motivational stuff/proper facts, and advertising is.. neither.

2. Why do you not allow anon messages?

90% of my anon mail is hater comments. It’s always easy to be in that position where you’re hiding behind an anonymous computer screen to mercilessly tear stuff apart, but who does it benefit? It certainly doesn’t reflect my views or what I’m trying to promote on my blog. Negativity might get you attention, but it does so for all the wrong reasons. I’d rather have a smaller audience who trusts my opinion than a larger audience who just comes back to see what the anonymous keyboard warriors have to say.

If someone is willing to back up their negative opinion with their own name, I’ll publish it.

Edit: I’m allowing anon questions again, don’t waste your time sending me hate, I’m not even gonna read it.

3. How do I loose weight?

Eat less, keep a food diary, exercise more, drink 8 cups of water a day, get enough sleep.  

4. How do I get smaller thighs/bum/waist/arms?

You can’t target where you loose fat from. When you exercise, your body decides where the fat it wants to burn comes from, generally, females have more stubborn fat on the lower half of their bodies, while males have it on their belly. 

5. How do I burn fat?

Interval training is the most efficient way, but mixing it up with weights, sports, strength training is important. 

6. How do I calculate my body fat?

With a body fat caliper. Google it. Or ask at your gym/trainer.

7. Are there any photos of you?

Nope, my self confidence is at an all time low thanks to 8 years (and counting) of suffering from acne… SIGH. :( 

8. How much should I eat to loose weight?

Weight management is 90% diet, 10% exercise. 

So, to answer the question… here’s how you figure out how much YOU require.

Step 1: Find out your BMR

Step 2: Figure out your daily calorie needs to MANTAIN your current weight.

Step 3: Reduce that number from step 2 by 15-20%, after a week check the scales. Reduce the number of calories further for faster results, but the minimum calories you should be consuming is your BMR. I don’t suggest you consume your BMR from the start, as you’d probably feel a bit too restricted causing you to be sluggish as it takes a while for you to adjust, and the chances of you being able to keep up this ‘diet’ are slim. 

You might want to try out this app/online food diary- my fitness pal. When you sign up, it does all the calculations for you and recommends how much you should eat to loose x amount of weight each week.
